We believe in order for us to understand a problem, we must first educate ourselves. And in order to solve that problem, we must rely on our values to rectify the issue. Therefore, in order for us to deconstruct racism within society, institutions, and ourselves, we must study how experts define and explain the problem, while also depending on our spiritual fathers to guide our understanding and execution of true Christian responses. Although not every academic or spiritual reading will correlate or overlap, our goal is to actively exercise our brains and hearts to simultaneously achieve an Orthodox Christian understanding of social justice.
